The Palisades fire took so much from Lindsay Luzader and Millicent Podel - their home and all of their worldly possessions. It also robbed Lindsay of her livelihood- her ability to earn a living. The hungry fire took everything-- well...not quite everything. Lindsay gratefully has her daughter and her health, and she is holding dear to her hope, her gratitude, and her faith. Nevertheless, she needs help rebuilding her life at the most foundational level.
Your support of our friends Lindsay and Millicent will aid in their recovery from the physical and emotional devastation and to restart their lives with some dignity. Millicent wants to return to school and Lindsay wants to work again. They need nearly everything--especially a place to live along and the set-up of up of a new place.. What makes this doubly hard, is that at this moment Lindsay has no way to earn a living since the fire also took her home-based business.
This is Lorie Scheibel (Maryland) and I am a long-time family friend of Lindsay and Millicent and their family. I represent a group of family and friends who are standing with Lindsay and Millicent.
