Many of you may already know Linda‘s situation but here’s a quick summary. In May Linda suffered a hemorrhagic stroke where she was hospitalized for a few weeks. Thereafter, she pushed through a few weeks of Therapy at Gaylord. She made great improvement and was able to be discharged in early July. She had a follow up MRI early August, where they discovered she had a level 4 glioblastomas tumor (form of brain cancer). On 8/14 she went in for surgery to have it removed. The doctor said surgery went well and she was discharged 4 days later. Linda is currently seeing a home visiting a nurse, OT,PT and speech therapist. The goal the next few weeks is to get stronger physically and mentally. After that, Linda will have to start chemotherapy and radiation. What looks to be a nine month process. We appreciate the support and prayers on Linda’s journey to recovery ❤️.
