Stand with Lily Epler in Her Health Journey

Hi, my name is Lily Epler. I recently had my world turned upside-down on May 2nd when I collapsed due to anxiety-induced cardiac arrest at my job. I’ve since been diagnosed with long-QT, missed out on nearly an entire month’s worth of income, had to quit my second job, and had my license suspended for six months due to the nature of my collapse (cardiac arrest). I’m lucky to still be writing this right now, as several doctors have stated. I was denied any worker’s compensation because the event could not be tied back to work related injuries and was instead ruled as a preexisting condition. I immediately returned to work once the bare-minimum resting period ended. This will be a lifelong battle of advocating for my health, as I’ve now had an ICD defibrillator implanted in my side that will need to be removed and replaced every seven years. I am now reaching out to my community for support. I am not asking for much, only what you are absolutely willing to part with. These funds will go towards medical bills and rent until I gain enough momentum to support myself once again. Thank you all so much for your support.
