Stand with Lexi in Her Financial Struggle

Hello, this is Alexis (Lexi) Vorob. I’m creating this GoFundMe for the first time because my situation has gotten this dire. I’ve hesitate to do this because it isn’t in my nature to ask for help, but I don’t know where else to turn.

I’ve been in a financial crisis for years trying to make ends meet. It was a constant struggle raising my kids as a single mother. Now at 78 I’m still struggling to make ends meet. Due to my rent being increased so high, my Social Security no longer can cover the increases. My son is on Disability and contributes all his money to help with expenses. My daughter has been ill for many years and has incurred exorbitant medical expenses, though still helps as best she can to contribute. I have used whatever resources I had to make ends meet and cannot meet these expenses any longer. Currently, I’ve been looking for work since Covid lifted and haven’t been able to get an interview that resulted in a position. Looking for a job at my age doesn’t make it any easier.

I’m hoping to secure these funds to cover this month’s rent and expenses while still searching for a job that will turn into something permanent!
