Hi, my name is Lexi Thompson—and I never imagined I’d be writing this.
On May 12th, 8:45 am - 5:47 pm, I underwent surgery to remove what we thought was a routine hysterectomy for previous medical conditions. But on May 13th, at about 6:30 am, I was rushed down to the operating room again with hemorrhaging in my pelvis.
I underwent the surgery and still had excruciating pains, which I then found out were due to 2 kidney stones.
I’ve continued working until the day of surgery,
But
I am mentally and physically exhausted.
And I need to heal without the constant pressure to push through.
I’m launching this GoFundMe so I can take time to know my month's payments will be covered until I HOPEFULLY can return to work 8-12 weeks post-op.
This fund will help cover:
• Living expenses while I pause work to heal
• Medical bills and medications not fully covered by insurance
• Supplemental therapies for strength, nutrition, and mental well-being
• Space to rest without worrying about how to keep going
I’m asking—with so much gratitude—for your support now..
Every donation helps. Even a share helps.
This isn’t the end of my story—it’s a powerful pause.
A necessary reset.
And when I return?
I’ll be stronger, wiser, and more rooted in purpose than ever before.
Thank you for standing with me in this season.
— Lexi ❤️
