Stand with Leslie in Her Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Alex and I’m fundraising for my mom, Leslie.

On May 28th, my mom was rushed into emergency surgery after collapsing in my grandmother’s hospital room. A CT scan revealed a complete blockage in her colon, which was malignant as well as nodules on her liver and lymph nodes. After 7 days in the hospital, mom was discharged home, but her battle was not over. On June 7th, we met with the oncologist. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer…words she nor I ever expected to hear. She will begin chemotherapy at the Florida Cancer Specialist center on June 24th. This will be a long, hard battle BUT she is strong and ready to fight!
