My name is Brianna Beaman (Saavedra) and I'm starting this Gofundme on behalf of my dad, Leroy Saavedra. This Gofundme is to help with any medical expenses and/or things needed during his treatment. I've always known my dad to be an incredibly strong and resilient person. He's continued to show courage and determination through his journey with prostate cancer. My dad and mom, Beverly, have been happily married for 43 years. That's brought them 5 kids, and 10 grandkids who adore them. He dedicated 23 years of his life answering the call of God pastoring and evangelizing for 8 years. The fact that he's raised 5 kids is a testament to his love and commitment to his family. The battle he's been fighting against cancer, from the initial surgery in September 2021 to the recent radiation treatments, shows his unwavering spirit. He found out the cancer came back in January 2024. Leroy's most recent treatment was June 7th, 2024. We're hoping this will bring him closer to full recovery. He's a true inspiration to me and our family. On behalf of my family, we are truly grateful for every blessing.
