We are heartbroken to share the passing of Darrel Mack, a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend and incredibly strong soul who bravely fought cancer for the past four years. Through every challenge, Darrel faced life with strength, humour, and an unshakable spirit.

He and Leela were married for 8 of their beautiful 16 years together, filled with love, laughter and deep connection. Now, as Leela grieves the loss of her partner, we are coming together to honour Darrel’s life and support her through this incredibly difficult time.

This fundraiser has been created to help cover the costs of Darrel’s celebration of life in Yellowknife, as well as to alleviate the financial burden that comes with unexpected expenses during a time of grief. From final arrangement costs to everyday bills, the strain can be overwhelming — and any contribution, no matter the size, will help lift some of that weight from Leela’s shoulders.
