As some of you may know, my mom, Lee Hilty, was admitted to the ICU on December 15th with end-stage liver cirrhosis. At that time, we were uncertain about her outcome. As of January 6th, we learned that the doctors had done everything possible to help her body fight in hopes of getting her to a liver transplant, but unfortunately, her levels were not improving. The doctor informed us that there was nothing more they could do for her. We were able to have her transported to MUSC. However, on January 14th, 2025, she lost her battle and is now at peace. In light of this situation, we are reaching out for help. We are trying to raise funds to cover any outstanding medical expenses, memorial and cremation services, support the shop (which will be closing in the future but we need to sell most of the product), manage bills, and most importantly, provide temporary assistance for our family while we get our finances in order.
