Stand with Laxman's Family in Their Grief

नमस्कार सम्पूर्णमा हार्दिक अपिल ! पर्वत जिल्ला मोदी गाउँपालिका-६,गिजान घरभइ हाल अमेरिकाको न्यूयोर्क राज्यमा बसोबास गर्दै आउनुभएका वर्ष ४३ का श्री लक्ष्मण बहादुर मल्ल यही अप्रिल २८ मा एक्कासी रिँगटा लागेर भुइँमा ढलेपछि न्युयोर्क राज्य स्थित साउथसाइड अस्पताल को आकस्मिक कक्षबाट भेन्टिलेटरमा स्थानान्तरण गरिएको थियो। सन् २०२३ मा अनेकौं चुनौती र कठिनाइ पार गर्दै अमेरिकाको न्युयोर्क राज्य आइपुग्नुभएका मल्ल शरणार्थी असाइलम द्वारा अमेरिकाको बसोबास प्रावधान मिलाउँदै हुनुहुन्थ्यो। मे १ २०२४ मा उपचारको सिलसिलामा अस्पतालले भौतिक र प्राविधिक रूपमा ब्रेन डेड भई उहाँ हामीबीच नरहेको जानकारी दिएको छ। उहाँको परिवारमा श्रीमती सजिता लामिछाने मल्ल वर्ष ३८, छोरी सभीयाता मल्ल वर्ष २०, छोरी दिव्यता मल्ल वर्ष १७, छोरा दीप्सन मल्ल वर्ष १२ हुनुहुन्छ, यो पिडादाई अवस्थामा परिवारका सदस्यहरू बिक्षप्त अवस्थामा हुनुहुन्छ, परिवारको एकमात्र सहाराको रूपमा मल्लाले भूमिका निर्वाह गर्दै आउनुभएको थियो। अस्पतालले पार्थिव शरीर डिक्लेयर गर्नको लागि परिवारको सदस्यको आह्वान गरेको हुँदा अहिले हामीले उहाँकी श्रीमती र जेठी छोरीलाई नेपालमा रहेको अमेरिकी राजदुतावास बाट अमेरिका झिकाउने काम अगाडि बढाएका छौं। यस्तो दुःखत घडीमा परिवारका सदस्य नेपालबाट आउने जाने खर्च लगायत यहाँ लाग्ने अन्तिम संस्कारको खर्च निज मल्ल लगायत परिवारका सदस्यहरूको नाजुक स्थितिका कारणले यहाँहरु माझ सहयोगको अपेक्षा गर्दै यो गोफण्ड अगाडि बढाइएको छौ। यहाँहरू सम्पूर्णले सक्दो सहयोग गरी परिवार लगायत आफन्त जनहरूमा सान्त्वना व्यक्त गरिदिनको लागि हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछौँ।

Hello, a heartfelt appeal to all! Mr. Laxman Bahadur Malla, 43 years old, who is currently living in New york State was a resident of Modi Rural Municipality-6, Gijan, Parbat District, was admitted to the emergency room and transfer to ICU of Southside Hospital in New York State on April 28 after he suddenly collapsed on the floor. In 2023, after passing through many challenges and difficulties, Malla arrived in New York state, the dream country of America, and was arranging the accommodation provision of America by Asylum. On May 1, 2024, in the course of treatment, the hospital has informed that he is physically and technically brain dead and is no longer with us. In his family, wife Sajita Lamichhane Malla, 38 years, daughter Sabyata Malla, 20 years, daughter Divyata Malla, 17 years, son Dipsan Malla, 12 years, in this painful situation, the family members are in a divested and painful stage. Malla has been playing the role as the only support of the family. As the hospital has called for family members to declare the body, we have now proceeded to bring his wife and elder daughter to the US from the US Embassy in Nepal. In such a sad time, we are hoping for support among the family members to come from Nepal, including the expenses of the last rites here, due to the critical Financial condition of the family members including Malla. We sincerely request everyone here to give their best possible support and express their condolences to the family and relatives.
