#LaceyStrong The fight is back on!

Our family is being hit hard and things are heavy as we navigate through the new medical updates for our Lacey girl! We are trying to be as strong as we possibly can and stay hopeful, as always.

In March 2020, Lacey's brain cancer diagnosis changed our lives, but we were able to navigate through the hardships with the help of our family, friends, and community. Lacey was kicking cancer, staying NED (No Evidence of Disease) for 3.5 years!

In December 2023, Lacey's cancer came back, showing another tumor in her brain, close to her brain stem... Surgery was denied due to the location, and she has spent the last year in treatment.

Before, during, and after treatment, Lacey graduated high school, become and Auntie and began working 3-5 days a week. Never missing a beat, balancing her family, job, and friend life extremely well! Thriving, in fact!! Her positivity and determination are contagious!! Our hope has and will always be for that to never change and for her spirit to stay strong. #LaceyStrong!

Unfortunately, at her recent MRI on January 7th, the update was that the recurring brain tumor is still there. However, we also received devastating news that the cancer has spread to her spine, showing as another new tumor in the lumbar region.

With that being said, we are reaching out to our community to help our girl live her absolute best life... just as she has tried to do throughout this 5-year journey. Our community consists of family, friends, friends of friends, and people we don't even know. We are doing this GoFundMe so Lacey can live her brightest future and experience the very best treatment and epic experiences throughout. Nearly 5 years ago, we did one and we were so grateful, thankful, and appreciative. It saved us and brought a tremendous sense of relief for the days ahead! We want to be able to spend every second with Lacey, and as we all know, this journey is not and will not be easy!
