On Tuesday Oct. 7th, my father Kristopher Lester got in a bad car wreck. He was airlifted from Mason City to MercyOne Des Moines after suffering multiple severe injuries, including several skull fractures, facial fractures, a broken jaw, neck, and ankle, as well as brain bleeding and other trauma. He is currently in the Neuro trauma ICU, unable to stay awake for more than a few seconds at a time, and has no memory of what happened. The outlook for his recovery is still uncertain, and our family is facing each day with hope and determination.
Kristopher is a loving husband, father, son, and brother who has always worked hard to support those around him. Now, as he faces a long and difficult road ahead, we are focused on covering his mounting medical bills and finding financial stability during this overwhelming time. The accident has left our family missing work and struggling to balance college and daily life with being by his side.
We are doing our best to stay strong, but we cannot manage this alone. Any support will help us cover urgent medical expenses and provide some relief as we navigate the uncertainty of Kristopher’s recovery. Thank you for standing with our family and helping us give Kristopher the care and support he needs.
