Stand with Kristi in Tough Times

This is so hard for me, but here it goes.

I have been in Production accounting for TV/Film for the last 20+ years and with a strike, shutdowns, moving projects out of the country, like others in my field, I can't find work. I redid my resume for a corporate setting and even though I am over qualified for most jobs I apply for, that employer doesn't feel the same as they don't know exactly what we do in the TV world. I have applied for at least 150 jobs and the only one that came through is Home Depot, part time @ $15/hr. When you go from making over $100k/yr to $15/hr, this has been humbling to say the least. I recently split from my husband and moved into my own Apartment with Madi. I had a job working remote when all this went down, then 4 weeks later, we got laid off due to a new team coming in and taking over. I was heart broken as I had this job lined up till beginning of August. I lost my health benefits end of last year and didn't have enough hours (short by 50 hours) to regain them with that job. As others in my Industry, I am about to lose everything I have, including my car and my apartment I just got. I have never had to ask for help like this before and I hate this feeling. I cry most days just trying to figure out how to make it to the next and provide for my daughter. This has been truly humbling for me and I am asking for a little help before I lose my car and can't make my part time job at Home Depot (that doesn't even cover my rent, but it's something for now). If you could only afford $5.00, this would truly mean the world to me and I am forever grateful to all of you that are even willing to read this, let alone donate. Please don't think I sit home all day hoping for something to just fall in my lap, that's not the case. I am a fighter, a hustler and I am trying anything and everything to get a full time job (which is why i accepted Home Depot because it's SOMETHING). If you or anyone know of someone hiring, I am all ears. I want to work, I need to work and I appreciate any help you all are willing to give.
