Help Support Kinlynn’s Recovery After a Tragic Horse Accident
If you know Kinlynn, then you know her heart beats for horses. At just 2 years old, she got her first pony, Clyde, and by 4, she was already racing barrels. It didn’t take long for her to realize that barrel racing wasn’t just a hobby—it was her passion. Inspired by her Aunt Ashley Castleberry, Kinlynn dreamed of turning that passion into a lifelong career.
Now 9 years old, Kinlynn has already accomplished so much. She's won countless ribbons, buckles, and even earned her very first saddle this year. Her determination and success led her to purchase her very own barrel horse using her winnings—an incredible milestone for someone so young.
But just three weeks later, tragedy struck.
While trying to lunge her new horse, Kinlynn went behind him to gently pat his hindquarters. The horse was startled and kicked her in the face. The injuries were devastating—three facial fractures, a shattered nose, 22 stitches, and severe trauma to her left eye, which now requires surgical repair to be placed back into the socket.
Kinlynn has a long road ahead filled with surgeries, pre-op and post-op appointments, and physical and emotional healing. As you can imagine, the medical expenses, along with the time off work her family must take, are creating a financial burden.
We’ve started this GoFundMe to help relieve the financial pressure on Kinlynn’s parents so they can fully focus on getting their daughter the care she needs.
If you know Kinlynn, you know how selfless and kind she is—always giving, never asking. Now it’s our turn to give back.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Please also keep Kinlynn and her family in your prayers as they navigate the difficult journey ahead. Thank you for your support and love.
