Support Kimberly & Scott in Rebuilding their Lives

My name is Ashley & I've started this fundraiser to help my dear friends after an unfortunate tragedy.

Kimberly Walker & Scott Bostwick woke up to a fire alarm. The dog was barking & trees were cracking outside on their front porch. There has been recent suspicious activity in the area and they thought it was a burglar trying to break into their home. Upon hearing the alarm, they realized in their sleepy daze what was happening. Kim dove out the bathroom window while Scott went out the back door. Unfortunately the dog was trapped upstairs & perished in the fire. They lost everything. Material possessions, clothing, spare cash, artwork, books, prescriptions, cell phones & saddest of all their beloved pet Benjamin.

These two are wonderful members of our stagehand tribe in Spokane, Washington. We are hoping to raise money for them to restart. Things like this are never planned for. In this case, the police suspect it may have been arson. With the homeless community inundating our area, we fear the worst & this may have been far from just an unfortunate accident.

I have set the goal for $10,000. They lost spare money totalling just over $2000 in this fire. There was a new mattress they saved a long time to purchase. Many electronics for Scott's side jobs were lost. All of these items are replaceable but finding a new residence is not going to be easy. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you know someone who can help, that would be wonderful as well. Our community is suffering right now. This is just one couple who is directly affected by it.
