Hi! We’re posting this fundraiser to help support our family as our precious mother, Kimberly Hopkins, begins her fight against stage 4 melanoma. Over the summer of 2025, our mom began having joint pain and fatigue, which then progressed to GI symptoms and unexplained lab values. We then began a difficult journey of trying to figure out what was going wrong. By the middle of August, she had to be hospitalized for a week to combat some of her symptoms. It was then that she finally had imaging done that revealed widespread lesions, which were later diagnosed as melanoma.

Our mom is kindness and faithfulness embodied, a light that walks into a room, a blessing to everyone who meets her. She has been a devoted wife to our father, Don Hopkins, since marriage in 1998 and the best mother a girl could ask for to us girls: Kelsey, Chloe, Carly, and Kara. She is also well known in the community for her role in caring for other children as a Behavioral Tech at Sugar Creek Elementary School.
