Khalid Timbers is a Father, a colleague, and a friend to everyone he meets. Khalid has been a Lifeguard for years, working at UPenn, American Pools, and currently Main Line Health Fitness and Wellness Center. 10 years ago Khalid was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Recently his struggle with this illness has had severe impacts on his health and he has been unable to work. In this time Khalid has been in and out of the ER and has had challenges walking, eating, and drinking. There is no telling how long Khalid may be out of commission for and it is effecting every aspect of his life.

Please understand that Khalid is an incredibly remarkable person whose loving personality affects everyone he meets. His faith in God, and his deep compassion for others led him into a career where he protects lives every day. Everyone at his place of work cherishes him and regularly ask when he will be back.
