Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I’m fundraising for my mom, Kelly Cummings.

Right now, our family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My mom’s husband, Willard Freeman, is in the final stages of his battle with cancer. He’s been the primary source of financial support in their household, and as heartbreaking as it is to be losing him, my mom is also facing the devastating reality of losing the income they depended on.

As she prepares to say goodbye to her husband, she’s also trying to figure out how she’s going to survive the months ahead—how to keep a roof over her head, how to manage bills, and how to start over while grieving.

I’m raising $20,000 to help my mom cover three months of rent and living expenses, and to give her the ability to move into a more affordable place when the time comes. Any extra funds will go toward easing the financial burden she’ll continue to carry in the wake of this loss.
