Dear Friends and Family - Six days ago my son Kellen, who is eight years old, started having extreme headaches and increasingly severe seizures. After two trips to the ER, it was determined that his condition was critical and on Tuesday of this week he was flown to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital on the OHSU campus. Kellen was admittted to the Pediatric ICU. He has had CT scans, a lumbar puncture, EKG and MRI. His diagnosis is viral meningitis, but the actual virus is still unknown and he is continuing to be tested. We are still at Doernbecher and are hoping to bring Kellen home soon.

So many of you have already shown our family an abundance of love and support. But Kellen required air transport to Portland and, even though he is covered through Mercy Flights, our share of that could be $10,000 or more. We are grateful and so thankful for all of you.
