Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts but unwavering faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our 5 week old baby, Keagan, was recently admitted to the hospital due to SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia). What was supposed to be a time of joy has turned into the toughest battle of our lives.
Our Story
About 1 weeks ago, we noticed Keagan wasn’t eating or drinking normally. He was also not acting like his usual self. We noticed his heart rate was elevated. We took him to our pediatrician who quickly determined that he needed to go to the ER.
The ER doctor noted how high his heart rate was (290 bpm) and said he needed better care than what they could offer and so Keagan was flown to Lubbock.
He was given a beta blocker to bring his heart rate down. Within the first 24 hours in Lubbock, he had several attacks. With each attack, they would increase his dosage. After a few hours he would have another attack and the dosage would keep increasing.
This morning (3/7/25) he had a couple more attacks and the doctors decided to try a different beta blocker. He must go 3 days without an attack before being discharged.
The Financial Burden
While we are doing everything possible to focus on Keagan’s health, the medical expenses are overwhelming. Hospital stays, treatments, specialized care, and time away from work are creating financial stress that we could have never prepared for. We want to provide Keagan with the best possible care, but we can’t do it alone.
How can you help
Every dollar donated will go directly toward Keagan’s medical bills, medications, necessary treatments, and supporting our family during this difficult time. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign means the world to us.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers
We believe in the power of prayer and community. Your support-whether financial, emotional, or spiritual-gives us strength to keep fighting for our little warrior.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Keagan’s journey. We will keep everyone updated as we navigate this challenge with hope, faith, and resilience.
With love and gratitude,
