Stand with Kayla in Her Time of Need

Friends and Family,

On May 8th I asked for prayers for my family, after I was notified my youngest daughter was in a severe high-speed vehicle rollover accident leaving her unconscious, 5 1/2 months pregnant, and bleeding at the cars rest. Kayla was life flighted to the nearest trauma center, where her unborn baby was pronounced deceased and she was critically injured. Kayla suffered a bleed in her brain (thankfully is subsiding), broken pelvis(3 places), broken hip, broken shoulder & broken jaw. To date Kayla has now undergone multiple surgeries and will need one more in the upcoming weeks to months. Kayla was apparently involved in a severe domestically violent relationship unknowingly to her family. An account has been set up for the "Benefit of Kayla" medical fees and potential upcoming legal fees that may result from being associated with the individual that got her where she is now. Kayla's recovery will take up to or more than a year and will require continuous 1 to 1 care in the coming weeks to months to come. Needless to say the entire situation has been devastating for her and our family. If you'd like to donate anything to assist, any amount is helpful. If you are not financially able we would appreciate any spare time you may have to just visit with her so that I (Meredith) can try to get some much needed rest & back to work & home.
