Stand with Kati Gilkes in Her Time of Need

Hello everyone. One of my best friends for almost 30 years has been through an extremely difficult time over the past few months and will continue to struggle for the foreseeable future.

Our friend Kati Gilkes was unknowingly suffering from staphylococcus infection caused by an abscess on her spinal cord. The condition was very close to ending in death. Thank God she was fortunate enough to have made it to the hospital in time for emergency spinal reconstructive surgery.

She is able to walk with a walker for only short periods of time. She isn’t able to work and still has a 16 year old son to support. Any support is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Forever grateful.
