My name is Susan Deman. I’m starting this GoFundMe page to assist my dear friend, Debra Torres and her daughter Kara Perotti. Kara is currently in the hospital in Bakersfield, CA, and Debra and family members have been by her side during this whole ordeal.

Kara is a dear, sweet, special needs young lady who was thriving in her group home. She got pneumonia sent to hospital where nurses and doctors there “forgot” to give her seizure medicines!!! She is currently fighting for her life, on a ventilator, with a different neurologist and other doctors, almost daily!

Debra is fighting for Kara, as they want her to just "pass away" and be done with it. Anyone who knows anyone with a special needs child will tell you that’s the last thing we want…

Deb wants to bring her home too.
