Fight Against Ovarian Cancer
Everyone needs to know my daughter, Kaitlyn, not just meet her. She is a smart, outgoing, humorous, delightful, 22-year-old young lady who is going to defeat some unique challenges sent her way. What started out as a routine surgery for endometriosis turned into something so much more. What they thought was endometriosis was, in fact, ovarian cancer.
Her job was working hard every week, which she truly enjoyed. She loves her co-workers and what she does at work. Her other job is being a great sister, aunt, cousin, girlfriend, and true joy to her family. Now her job is going to look a little bit different.
Her new assignment starts March 11 with surgery to remove her cancer, and then she will continue with chemotherapy. We don’t know how long the battle will last, but we know she will win the war.
Your support while she and her family endure this battle will arm her for the fight. She is unable to work at this time due to the pain she endures daily, and her family will be missing work to take care of her, getting her to and from appointments. Any gift you are able to give will fuel her fighting spirit.
Your monetary gift is beyond gracious, helping her with fuel to get to appointments, co-pays, and other concerns of expenses a patient should not have to carry in these uncertain times. Gifts don’t always come monetarily; even your thoughts and prayers will carry her in the moments that feel dark. However you can show your love, care, and support for her, let’s help her know it. With all of us, Kaitlyn will win.
for those that have asked if there’s another way to send donations without having to pay the GoFundMe, we are also using Venmo.
