Julie Spaeth, wife to George and mother of 11 amazing children, has been battling colon cancer, which mastesized to the liver, for several months. Julie started chemotherapy in December of 2025 but had to pause treatment due to recent complications, two hospitalizations, and surgery. On June 24, Julie and George were informed by their medical team that they were unable to do any more for her. The family is hoping to bring Julie home on Friday, June 26th, at which time hospice will assist in her care and comfort.

Julie has spent the last 30 plus years not only as a wife and mom, but also as their children's (homeschool) teacher and managing their household full-time, selflessly putting George and their kids first.

We all know that there are expenses that come along with fighting this terrible disease. Over the last several months, George has had to step back from his business by working less and even turning away new jobs to care for Julie and the kids, ensuring that all their needs are taken care of. And just recently, their oldest children have put their jobs on hold to help care for their mom, their younger siblings and to help keep their home as normal as possible.
