Stand with Julian: Medical and Legal Aid Needed

As everyone is seeing the videos going around, Julian is currently still in the hospital doing scans as they did crack his head. We have not been able to speak to him or even enter the hospital per ICE request. We do know that he will be sent to federal jail downtown until he awaits a judge over a case where he did NOT fight back. He was scratching his back and they came at him with the assumption of him carrying a gun. He was before the crosswalk/sidewalk started. There was no heavy crowd at that time. They had nothing to fear and didn’t need 3 men to throw him onto the ground. This officer has also been posted multiple times for his aggressive behavior. This was not about whether he is a citizen as that was never asked. He is a US born Italian. This was about overusing their force when it is not needed.

As of right now, Julian will need help covering his medical bills as he has no insurance, and for the legal fees because he WILL be going after them.

For everyone that knows Julian, you know that he is always there to help when he can and one of the best spirits to be around.

Como todos ven en los videos que circulan, Julian sigue en el hospital haciéndole tomografías, ya que le golpearon la cabeza. No hemos podido hablar con él ni siquiera entrar al hospital por solicitud de ICE. Sabemos que lo enviarán a una cárcel federal en el centro de la ciudad hasta que espere a un juez por un caso en el que NO se defendió. Se estaba rascando la espalda y lo atacaron asumiendo que portaba un arma. Estaba antes de que comenzara el cruce peatonal/acera. No había mucha gente en ese momento. No tenían nada que temer y no necesitaron que tres hombres lo tiraran al suelo. Este oficial también ha sido asignado varias veces por su comportamiento agresivo. No se trataba de si era ciudadano, ya que nunca se le preguntó. Es un italiano nacido en Estados Unidos. Se trataba de un uso excesivo de la fuerza cuando no es necesario.

En este momento, Julian necesitará ayuda para cubrir sus gastos médicos, ya que no tiene seguro, y para los honorarios legales, ya que irá tras ellos.

Todos los que conocen a Julián saben que siempre está ahí para ayudar cuando puede y que es una persona muy amable.
