Stand With Judy in Her Cancer Fight.

Hi everyone. My name is Judy and I’m a MM warrior. There is no cure for Multiple Myeloma. Just treatments, hopefully remission, and maybe more treatments for the rest of my life.
I’ve been getting treatments and it’s getting more complicated now. I have to see an oral surgeon soon and get several bottom teeth pulled and then get partial dentures.
I’ve had a small brain tumor for over 10 years. It’s benign and inoperable due to being in a very bad location.
But now I’m losing vision in my right eye so off to the eye doctor and neurologist I go!
Meanwhile, I will be wearing my black eye patch and maybe be a pirate wench for Halloween. Haha.
I’m on Eliquis blood thinners to prevent any more blood clots. So, I’m a bleeder.
Co-pays are starting to add up to thousands.
I’m on many prescription medications and get blood work and treatment every week.
I’ve been quiet the last few months about my new journey. But I’m having to swallow my pride and ask for help.
My oncologist tells me I should be in remission in a couple of months and hopefully be a candidate for a stem cell transplant. But I will not be considered unless I get the dental work done.
I’ve been on disability for a decade due to other health issues and it complicates my health even more. Plus, I will be needing more spine surgery and more weeks of hospitalizations. I’m still learning to walk again after surgery last October.
I hope people can find it in their heart to help me.
I already help my autistic adult son and he’s been an angel to me since I became sick. He lives with me and depends on his SSD plus getting ready to return to college at NAU with the help from grants and scholarships (Proud mom here). But he didn’t sign up for all that I’m going through.
If something happens to me unexpectedly, any donations will go to him to him because I worry constantly about him becoming alone and homeless.
I will be updating when I get doctor and dental estimates. I am under the care of several doctors including a cancer doctor, my primary care doctor, eye doctor, neurologist, kidney doctor, pain management doctor, and orthopedic doctors.
Thank you, sincerely, Judy.
I shared a photo of my son .
….. I guess I should take Bungee jumping off my bucket list. :)
