On Friday July 17th, a wonderful member of our Lincoln Square community; Josue Isai pire Hidalgo, was taken by immigration alongside his wife and two children when they arrived at their immigration appointment. While his family was released after 5 long hours, Josue has already been detained and transferred to Indiana. It is not clear how long he will have to be there. Josue is an incredible father, loving husband, and hardworking member of our community. He and his wife both work for CPS , Josue at Farnsworth Elementary. This GoFund me will go directly to the family to pay for legal fees, bail, as well as the family’s sudden loss of income.
