Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother-in-law, Josh — a kind-hearted, hilarious, and deeply loved man who is now facing the biggest fight of his life.

Many weeks ago, Josh began experiencing severe and unexplained pain that no medication or sedation could relieve. After multiple visits and growing concern, he was finally diagnosed with stage 3C testicle cancer (the worst possible stage of this particular diagnosis), which has aggressively spread to his lungs, liver, kidneys, and brain.

Before he could even begin treatment, he was turned away three times from hospitals in Cheyenne due to complications with insurance — all while his condition was rapidly deteriorating. Things took a terrifying turn when Josh began vomiting blood clots and pure blood. At that point, we knew we couldn’t wait any longer.

He was rushed 16 hours away to receive urgent, specialized care. Tragically, during the drive, Josh suffered a stroke. During his first round of chemotherapy, he was placed in the ICU while in critical condition, receiving 100% oxygen due to his lungs being less receptive to the therapy with the tumors that have overcome them.

Despite everything, Josh has already undergone surgery, which removed only one of the many cancerous tumors within his body. He’s fighting with everything he’s got, but this is only the beginning of what will be a long and uncertain road to recovery.

At this time, he has successfully completed his first round of chemotherapy, but is now faced with another challenge in between his resting period: an infection.

We don’t know what the final outcome will be — but what we do know is that Josh deserves every chance at life and every bit of support we can give him.

• Lifesaving medical care, chemo, and radiation

• Ongoing hospital stays and treatments

• Travel and lodging for family support

• Rehabilitation and recovery costs

• Any uncovered emergency expenses
