My friends and I are asking for your help for our wonderful friend and sister Josephine Stuppard. She was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer in August 2024. This resulted her in having a double mastectomy in November 2024 and was out of work for 2 months. After the removal of the lump and further testing, it was discovered that the cancer was actually Stage 2. Shortly after, another lump was found in December 2024. Testing results showed that it was not cancer but rather fat with fluids that should go away in time. While all this was occurring, her grandmother who raised here passed away and Josey was responsible for all financial responsibilities of the funeral.

In March of 2025, the lump unfortunately was still present. When it was removed and testing was performed, it was found that the cancer had returned at Stage 2. Although she thought everything was removed, she later found out that the cancer returned for the third time. After another surgery in May 2025, the doctor told Josey the cancer had spread to three other locations in the tissue of her breast. This is a rare type of cancer where she will need chemotherapy, radiation and possibly another surgery.

Our dear friend, Josey, has been trying to fight this cancer all while raising her family. It’s been overwhelming for her mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Unfortunately, the cancer has forced Josey to be out of work, resulting in a lot of medical/financial debt.

We are asking to please help and support our friend during this difficult time.
