Help Me Get Lifesaving Epilepsy Treatment Out of State
Hi, my name is Jordan Lewis, and I’m 24 years old. I’ve been battling epilepsy for the past 10 years — a relentless and often terrifying condition that has taken a massive toll on every part of my life.
Over the past decade, I’ve endured countless hospitalizations and multiple medically induced comas. Despite doing everything in my power to manage this illness, the in-state care I’ve received hasn’t been enough. My seizures remain uncontrolled, and the treatment options here have reached their limit. I’m now facing the reality that I need specialized care that simply isn’t available where I live.
Living with epilepsy has cost me so much — my independence, my mental health, and far too many moments of just being a young adult. At 24, instead of building a future, I’m stuck fighting just to make it through the day. The emotional and psychological toll is overwhelming. I’ve faced depression, anxiety, and the deep frustration of watching life pass me by while I'm held back by a system that can’t support my needs.
There is hope — but it lies out of state, where there are epilepsy centers and specialists equipped to provide the advanced care I urgently need. With your help, I can access this treatment and finally start building a stable, independent life.
Your donation will go directly toward:
Travel expenses to reach a top epilepsy treatment center
Medical consultations and specialized care
Temporary lodging during treatment
Ongoing therapy and mental health support
I’m exhausted, but I’m not giving up. I just need a chance — a real one — to get the care that could change everything.
If you’re able to contribute or even just share my story, it would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with me in this fight.
With gratitude,
Jordan
