At 49 years old, John’s life took an unexpected and devastating turn when he was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that has spread to his colon. Known for his steady work ethic, warm smile, and unwavering support for those around him, John now finds himself in the toughest battle of his life.

For years, John has been a dedicated team member at Groot Industries, where his reliability and positive attitude earned the respect of everyone who worked with him. Outside of work, John’s world revolves around his wife and children. Whether he was at a softball game for his daughter, fixing his project car, or lending a hand to a neighbor, John has always been the one people could count on.
