My name is John Rittenhouse Jr, and I’m fighting stage 4 colon cancer with metastasis to the liver.
Life turned upside down with that diagnosis. But in the very same season, we welcomed our beautiful baby into the world. Holding both realities at once—the joy of new life and the weight of fighting for my own—has given me a clear purpose: to fight with everything I have, and to leave a legacy of love and hope no matter what.
I’m pursuing every option for healing. That means chemotherapy and a strict protocol of natural supplements, off-label medicines, and a healthy ketogenic diet. While I saw early successes things are at a turning point and the cancer is growing again. I need to raise funds for a integrative oncologist to help refine my complex anti-cancer protocol. This protocol gives me the best chance, but it comes with heavy costs— much of which are not covered by insurance. On top of that I want to meaningfully contribute to bills and daily expenses for my family. My loved ones have had to work so hard to help make ends meet & keep my meds flowing, and I want to relieve the burden.
But my story is not only about surviving cancer. It’s about giving something back. Through this journey, I’ve committed myself to encouraging others who are struggling—with cancer or with life’s many battles. I’m working on:
