Hi, my name is Johane Joseph.

I have been battling with Lung disease and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) since December 2023 when I first became ill with COVID along with Neuromyeliyis Optica (NMO). Shortly after having COVID I develop pneumonia, antibiotics didn’t help me, so I was placed on ICU for 7 weeks. Until they were able to treat me for the right type of pneumonia. I am still on oxygen 24/7 and was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease.

Having a rare autoimmune disease (NMO) plus ILD has made life very hard and the road to recovery so far has been financially draining.
