Stand with Johana: Facing Cancer Without Coverage

Hello everyone. My name is Kiersten and I am starting this GoFundMe for my dear friend, Johana and her family. Johana received some unfortunate news that she has a very aggressive form of breast cancer, Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The triple negative part means it lacks all three key markers used to target breast cancer treatments, making it a particularly aggressive and challenging form of the disease. This means Johana and her family have a long road ahead of them.

She goes in for port placement Monday and begins chemo next week. She will likely have to do several months of chemo before looking at any type of surgery.

Johana, unfortunately, does not currently have health insurance and is needing our help with medical bills and being off work during her treatments.

This family is full of giving members, always helping others! It’s our turn to help them!

I know she and her family are already appreciative of anything sent their way, or even just the prayers sent up for all of them during this difficult time.
