Hello, my name is Skylar and I would like to introduce you to Michelle and Donnell Thomson, who just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on September 30th. They are proud parents of three young adult sons and grandparents to four beautiful grandchildren.

Michelle and Donnell have always been known for their generosity and kindness. Anyone who has crossed paths with them can share stories of how they’ve helped family, friends, and community members—whether it was with food, clothing, gas, or simply emotional support. They are the kind of people you could always count on in a time of need.

Now, this family finds themselves in a difficult season. Their son, Jo-ell, who had just celebrated his 24th birthday, was hospitalized at the end of August 2025 due to a critical and life-threatening injury. Since then, Jo-ell has undergone multiple major brain surgeries and has now been in the hospital for 34+ days fighting for his life. His journey has been filled with both moments of hope and heartbreaking setbacks, but through it all, the family continues to hold onto faith.

Michelle and Donnell, while being the primary caregivers to two of their grandchildren, have been faithfully by their son’s bedside day and night for over a month. The emotional, physical, and financial strain of this situation has been heavy.

We, as family and friends, are asking for support during this time. Donations will help ease the burden of daily expenses such as gas, hospital parking, rent, and utilities—so that Michelle and Donnell can continue focusing on what matters most: being present for their son and grandchildren.
