In an instant, everything can change. Not being able to work and facing cancer is one of the most painful and scariest challenges anyone can endure. The fear of the unknown and the uncertainty of what lies ahead can bring overwhelming stress and anxiety. As Jody being a sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and family friend, Sue. We stand with her in kicking cancers ass!

Jody Benolken, before her diagnosis with cancer, committed several years being a Direct Support Professional in supporting people with disabilities and running a Non-Profit for wildlife and getting kids into the outdoors.

She took care of and supported her longtime boyfriend of over 20 years. He became ill and couldn’t work anymore 5 years ago. She is a Christian and follower of Jesus. We humbly reach out for help for our mother/grandmother and friend.

Jody, whose world came crashing down on her when she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast Cancer on March 14th. That has spread to her liver and bones. Now facing financial hardships alongside her medical bills.

Jody requested prayers as she courageously fights cancer. Many people asked how they could assist, and her response was to pray. Since being diagnosed, Jody has gone through rounds of chemotherapy, hospital stays, pain, fear, and anxiety. She holds onto her prayers, and prayers from all who pray for her. That she end this cancer battle and be victorious over cancer by the grace of God.

Jody has been undergoing treatments at Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, MN. However, medical bills have already reached what insurance doesn’t pay for, of $6700. Jody’s inability to work due to having cancer has further compounded the financial strain.

As Acts 20:35 reminds us, it is more blessed to give than to receive, and the outpouring of support and prayers from kind souls like you has been truly blessed. Your generosity and prayers are invaluable, and your willingness to support Jody during this journey is deeply appreciated.
