Update: Jocelyn passed away early on September 15, 2026 at 2:40 am, while snuggling with her mama and holding her daddy’s hand. 

Anyone who has met Jocelyn will tell you that she is a living, breathing miracle. From the very first ultrasound, the Dorrall family was told that she would never survive past birth. She has proved every doctor wrong and fought hard to live to age four. Jocelyn is full of personality and has shone a light on the world around her. You can see her love for her six siblings, parents, and nurses in her eyes and in the way she interacts with them.

On September, 10th 2026, Jocelyn coded on the school bus on her way home from pre-K. The nurse was able to resuscitate her after performing CPR for four minutes. Still, unfortunately, Jocelyn coded again in front of her mother while they were waiting for Life Flight to arrive. Paramedics started CPR en route and continued their efforts at the hospital and were able to resuscitate her again after almost an hour.

Unfortunately, the doctors have informed the family that Jocelyn started having seizures, and they do not believe that she will regain brain activity. Crystal and Denver are now facing every parent's worst nightmare, as they make arrangements to take their daughter off the ventilator. Denver has exhausted all sick and personal leave from work due to having two children needing regular emergency medical care. They are in need of financial assistance to cover Denver's lost wages as he takes time off to say goodbye to their daughter and to help cover the cost of funeral expenses.
