It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news. My father, Jesus Medina, has been battling cancer since June 2024. In August 2024, he underwent radiation therapy, and we were optimistic that he was cancer-free. However, after a hopeful period of remission in May 2025, we recently received the heartbreaking news that his cancer has returned.

To fight this battle, he will need to undergo a liver transplant, which requires him to live within a 15-mile radius of the hospital in San Diego. This will prevent him from working, and he will face challenges in managing his financial responsibilities at home as well as covering the costs for his temporary stay in San Diego during his treatment and recovery. My mother being disabled can not take part in his full care during recovery bringing additional financial burden for the caregiver as well. We are immensely grateful for your time and any support that may help alleviate the financial burden during these difficult times.
