Stand with Jesica's Family in Tough Times

Donation protected
On the 15th at around 6:30 am, Jesica lost control of her vehicle, resulting in the unfortunate incident. The cause of the accident is still unknown, but it is assumed to be related to a seizure. I'm relieved to inform you that both kids are okay and have minor cuts and bruises. However, Jesica was ejected from the vehicle and sustained significant injuries.

Here is a summary of what we know so far and the timeline of events:

Around 10:30ish on April 17th, the medical team conducted X-rays of Jesica's chest and neck regions. This is a standard procedure that is done as part of their due diligence after completing the central PIC line placement. The PIC line is necessary for administering more intensive medications that are anticipated over the critical days ahead.

Once Jesica's brain swelling levels stabilize, the medical team plans to conduct an MRI to gather more information about her current status. Additional testing will also be carried out to further assess her condition. At this point, the doctors do not foresee the need for any brain surgery. However, it is important to note that this assessment is subject to change based on the feedback from the neurosurgeons.

We have received some positive news regarding Jesica's responsiveness. When the medical team conducted pain tests by reducing her sedation, she showed signs of responsiveness. This is an encouraging sign and indicates that her brain function is intact.

In addition to her brain injury, Jesica has sustained several fractures. She has a broken orbital, 2 broken scapulas, a broken vertebrae at the top of her spine, and 2 fractures of her skull. These injuries are significant, and the medical team is closely monitoring her for any further complications.

We understand that this is a challenging and uncertain time for all of us. Please know that Jesica is receiving the best possible care, and the medical team is closely monitoring her progress. Your support and understanding mean a lot to us during this difficult period.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. I will continue to keep you updated on any developments.

Thank you for your love and support and Prayers.
