Jerry Delafuente is a dedicated Army veteran who proudly served our country for 23 years, including three tours overseas. At home, he is a devoted family man, celebrating 30 years of marriage this coming December 30th. He is the loving father of two grown children and the proud "Papa" to two beautiful grandchildren.

A Sudden and Shocking Diagnosis

Everything changed on June 2nd. Jerry was rushed to the VA hospital emergency room experiencing severe headaches and issues with balance. A CAT scan revealed a concerning mass, and after tests to drain fluid buildup, the doctors delivered the devastating news: Jerry had two tumors.

The biopsy results confirmed our worst fears: High-Grade Glioblastoma.

This is a particularly aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer.

Our Battle Ahead

We are scared—every single day. It is heartbreaking to watch him change and struggle to do the simple things he used to do. We don’t know what we would do without him in our lives.

With endless prayers, positive thoughts, and a fighting spirit, we are determined to help Jerry beat this. We are focusing on treatment and staying strong as a family to face this aggressive challenge head-on, any donation is appreciated.
