Jenny "JGo" Gomez is an amazing friend to all who know her. She's kind, caring, clever, sarcastic when necessary.

She and her husband, Manny, are the parents to two awesome boys, Chance (12) and Destin (10).

She was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a very aggressive form of cancer that runs the risk of spreading and recurrence. She has a long road ahead of her. She started chemotherapy and immunotherapy last week and will be on both for the next year, then radiation from there. Expenses are already starting to pile up and it's going to get worse the further she gets into her treatment, especially if she is unable to work at times during her treatment.

We started this GoFundMe as a way to try to ease the burden, as many of her friends have been asking how they can help. If you have any funds to spare, please consider donating so we can help Jenny and her family get through this without needing to worry about the cost.

Nora and I have known Jenny for almost 20 years. In 2010 Nora and Jenny joined the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure, which resulted in them fundraising over $5,000 for breast cancer research and walking over 500 miles all over San Diego. I helped with fundraising and baked more cupcakes and cookies than I could count. It was an experience that we'll remember forever. None of us imagined that one of us would be one of the 1-in-8 women affected by breast cancer. But here we are, our JGo is one of those women and we are here to support her and her family.

Jenny is a wonderful person and I'm hoping that we will all be able to help ease the extreme financial burden this is placing on her and her family. JGo really, truly is the best of us. Let's try to get her some help. Thank you so much for reading this and donating if you're able to.
