My name is Jennifer Tyson. I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother of 3. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis approximately 15 years ago.  Until recently, I have been doing well and seeing the doctor every 6 months for treatment. At my last appointment, I found out that I have a tumor on my liver and am being sent to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for a potential liver transplant. EDITED: I was diagnosed with liver cancer on my first visit. I’m now on my 5th trip and had Y90 radiation today July 23rd. I have one more surgery next month for severe pulmonary hypertension and then my journey for a liver transplant begins.
