She’s overcome so much—don’t let an unfair expulsion end her dreams.

Jayden is a 4.3 GPA student, enrolled in the National Honor Society, taking multiple AP classes, and participating in dual enrollment programs with both her high school and college. She is on track to graduate with 36 credits, even though only 26 are required—demonstrating her dedication, ambition, and hard work.

She’s growing up without her parents in her life, raised by her aunt and uncle, and works long hours after school while preparing for college. On top of that, she’s had to protect herself from harassment against an older male who stalked her.

Because of those safety concerns, Jayden carried pepper spray for protection. Another student took it from her without permission and discharged it in class. The school knows Jayden did not discharge the pepper spray—yet she was suspended and is now being sent to an alternative school for troubled youths with criminal and violent histories. This is happening at Lexington High School in Lexington District 1, during her senior year.

Instead of focusing on graduation and college, Jayden now has to fight for her right to finish school. If the expulsion stands, it will stain her record, threaten college admissions, and put her life goals further out of reach.

She’s appealing with the help of a lawyer, but legal costs are more than she can afford.

We’re asking for your support to help Jayden cover legal expenses so she can clear her name, finish her senior year, and walk across the stage with her classmates.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Please donate or share her story—let’s stand with Jayden and give her the future she deserves.

She’s overcome so much—don’t let an unfair expulsion end her dreams.
