Help Jasmine and Her Son in Their Most Difficult Chapter
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We’re reaching out today to ask for your help in supporting an extraordinary woman — Jasmine, a loving mother, fierce advocate, and source of light to everyone who knows her.
At just 38 years old, Jasmine has already faced more than most do in a lifetime. She is the devoted mom of an incredible 8-year-old boy who lives with a rare genetic condition known as ATR-X syndrome. Her son is medically complex, nonverbal, and requires around-the-clock care. Jasmine has never wavered in her commitment to him — fighting tirelessly for his health, rights, and dignity. Her strength and love have been nothing short of inspiring.
A couple of years ago, Jasmine was diagnosed with cancer. Through sheer resilience and hope, she fought her way into remission, determined to be there for her son. But tragically, that cancer has returned, and it has now spread to her brain.
Jasmine has made the incredibly brave decision to begin hospice care. In this heartbreaking moment, her focus remains on what it has always been: making sure her son is safe, supported, and loved — no matter what lies ahead.
We are rallying together to support Jasmine in the time she has left, and to help create a secure, loving future for her son. Funds raised will go toward:
Jasmine’s hospice and end-of-life care
Legal and guardianship planning for her son
Creating a safe, stable environment for her son’s long-term care
Medical and therapeutic support for her son during this transition
Allowing Jasmine to spend her remaining time focused on love, connection, and peace — not financial stress
Jasmine is someone who has spent her life fighting for others — especially children with disabilities. Now, it’s our turn to fight for her.
Please consider donating what you can, and sharing this page to help spread the word. Every gesture — big or small — is an expression of love and support that will help carry Jasmine and her son through this unimaginable time.
May Jasmine feel the arms of the community wrap around her and her child tightly.
With deepest gratitude,
Jennifer and Florence, from the ATR-X community
