My friends, this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with colon cancer last year. I just finished chemotherapy, and as I was waiting for the news on whether I was in remission or not, I started having pain in my foot and a blister developed because of my lower immune system through chemotherapy. I have had to have half my foot amputated. My medical journey has been a massive burden on me and all my family. My wife Jasmine, who is entirely incredible, has been working her ass off and providing for my family. We have spent literally tens of thousands, if not close to $100,000, in medical expenses. We have used up all of our savings and we are completely tapped out. The life that I thought I would have and worked really hard to create for myself and for my family has been completely ripped away from me through my health struggles. Although having insurance, the deductibles and the out-of-pocket expenses, and the things the insurance would not cover have depleted us financially, emotionally, and physically. I’m coming to you completely broken and asking for your help. Whether it’s prayers, sharing this, or contributing what small amount you can to help my family regain some traction, it would be so very much appreciated. I never thought that I would be in a position where I had to ask for this help. I have been repeatedly denied disability and any assistance would be so appreciated. I literally have no idea what else to do than this. I know this is long, but I wanted to thank all my friends and each and every one of you for your love and support throughout this process. Thank you, Ben.
