Hello, my name is Jarrod Martin I am asking for your help to raise Legal Defense funds to assist with retaining Qualified Legal Counsel and a Thorough Investigative team.

Narrative being Spread is false, Unjust, harmful and Prejudice 3 Men came and Robbed / Burglarized my home while I was with my 6-year-old Daughter.

At approximately 6:20 am on October 5th, 2024, while peacefully at home with my 6-year-old daughter, 3 White men came and Robbed / Burglarized my home in the dark of the morning while also attempting to break into my window. I acted in Self-defense out of fear of my 6-year-old daughters' life and my life that traumatic morning. I wanted to make sure my daughter and I were safe, unfortunately one of the Robbers were seriously injured during the Robbery / Burglary and attempted Home Invasion. I acted in self-defense out of fear that these men would successfully break into my home and kill my daughter and myself. I was originally charged with 1 Felonious Assault, 1 Firing Upon a roadway and 4-gun specifications. As of August 7th, 2025, a new prosecutor has been assigned to my case and filed a Superseding Indictment charging me with Two more Felonious Assaults, Two more Firing upon a roadway, and Eight more Gun specifications bringing my total number of charges to 18. Two out of the Three men who robbed my home were originally charged by the prosecutor's office in Fairfield County, then the Charges were dropped due to the prosecutor's office claiming Lack of evidence after evidence was provided and one of the Robbers admitted to Planning the Robbery. The Prosecutors are now using two of the Robbers as witnesses in case against me.

I was immediately incarcerated and lost my employment due to having a $500,000 bond then $350,000 bond making it impossible for me to get out and keep my employment. I have experienced a lot of Trauma & PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) due to the Robbery / Burglary, attempted home invasion and being incarcerated in maximum security. I have had to go to Group Therapy and currently still going to Individual therapy to help heal from this traumatic event. In addition, due to these charges I have been unable to get employment and become gainfully employed or cover Basic living expenses. This has affected my ability to support my daughter and pay my bills or for Securing and paying for Qualified Legal Counsel.

I am a Certified Chef with a Culinary Arts Degree and not able to secure employment due to pending charges on my background. Every employer tells me wait until your case is over, so my job offers are rescinded. I am a Certified Bespoke Tailor and Fashion Designer with a Custom Clothing Brand, and my clothes were on display in the Gallerie Storefront and once these charges were filed my items were no longer allowed to be sold there. I also am a Gardener and Entrepreneur. I have no prior Criminal History and a Law-Abiding citizen.

I'm asking for your help and support in raising Legal defense funds and for basic living expenses to help fight against Injustice and to secure Qualified Legal Counsel.

Wrongfully Charged with Felonious Assault, Firing over a roadway with originally 4 Gun specifications. Nine almost Ten months later a week before Trial new prosecutor files Superseding indictment charging me with two more Felonious Assaults, Two more Firing Upon a Roadway, and Eight more Gun specifications which in turn pushed my trial off until November 18th, 2025.

Purpose of Fund

While Legal defense is a critical part of this journey, we want to make it clear that this fund is not solely dedicated to legal expenses a majority of it will be used for Legal defense, but our goal is to secure the best legal counsel for Justice in this case.
