Most of our community knows or goes to Happy Smoke in Middlesboro. Today, Jared, the manager who we all know works there every day all day long, was arrested FOR DOING HIS JOB. Was he actively smoking? No. Was he driving? No. He was working! Due to complications and a grey area with THCA, he was charged for something that is LEGAL UNTIL LIT.
Bond was set to $251,000 and we have hopes it will be lowered on Monday.
Our community knows Jared; some of us see and talk to him every day and know that he is a genuinely good guy.
