Help Charlette Rebuild Her Life and Heal

Hi, my name is Jan and I’m raising support for my older sister Charlette, who was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for 90-120 days. This stay is essential for her mental health and safety, and while I am thankful she’s getting the help she needs, the financial burden is overwhelming.

I’m doing all I can to keep her life stable while she heals, but I can’t do it alone. This is why I’m asking for your help.

What’s Happening

Charlette has faced a series of heartbreaking losses over the past few months:

She lost her car, leaving her without transportation

She lost her previous storage unit, which held many of her personal belongings

Now, her job-based insurance is ending, and without continued coverage, she won’t be able to remain at her treatment facility

She is fighting for her mental health—but she also needs a foundation to come back to.

What I Am Raising Funds For

Private insurance is required for her to stay at her current facility once her job coverage ends. This is the most crucial need!

2. Storage for Personal Belongings

To prevent another devastating loss of what she has left, I have secured a new storage unit that I must keep current.

3. Dog Boarding

➡️ $50/month = $200 total

Her dog Faith is her emotional support and joy—keeping her safe is essential for her recovery.

4. Transitional Housing After Discharge

➡️ Approx. $2,000-$3000

Once released, Charlette will need help with a safe place to stay, transportation assistance, and basic essentials to begin rebuilding her life.
