Stand with Jamie in Her Cancer Journey

Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and loving spirits to support an extraordinary individual on our team at California Closets here in Austin/San Antonio, Jamie Sargisson. Jamie has been a cherished member of our business family for a great many years. She has been facing the toughest battle of her life over the last couple of years—an aggressive and life-threatening cancer. We are fully committed to standing by her side, both emotionally and financially as much now as the day she received her diagnosis.

A bit about Jamie:

For 15 years, Jamie has been a beacon of positivity, dedication, and excellence within our team. Her unwavering commitment, remarkable talent, and infectious enthusiasm have touched the lives of countless clients and our entire internal team. Jamie is not just a colleague; she is a dear friend, and a source of inspiration to us all.

The Challenge:

2 years ago, Jamie was diagnosed with a severe form of cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock to all of us, but true to her resilient nature, she has approached this challenge with courage and determination. She has continued to excel in her Design Consultant role, and shined as a mother at the same time. However, the financial burden of medical treatments, combined with the emotional toll on her and her family, is of course stressful and overwhelming.

Our Goal:

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to alleviate some of the financial stress that comes with fighting cancer. And we are making changes to Jamie’s role within the organization to minimize the amount of energy needed to participate but continue to have a professional focus for her mental well-being. The funds raised will go directly towards covering medical expenses, treatments, and any additional support services needed to ensure Jamie receives the best possible care. Moreover, these funds will help support her family, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—being there for her during this critical time.
